Business Requirements
The platform must include a module that allows companies to expand their profiles with detailed business information, improving discoverability and connection opportunities. Additionally, an admin management portal should be developed to enable companies to add, edit, and manage employee accounts and organizational roles. These features will provide businesses with greater control over their presence on IOC while supporting seamless collaboration within and across organizations.
Impact
As of Q4 2025, this module is under development. However, we predict that this new module will enhance the platform engagement by enabling companies to present more complete and credible business profiles. With streamlined employee management and richer company data, internal organization and external networking will become more efficient. Overall, these improvements will strengthen trust, collaboration, and growth opportunities within the IO Community ecosystem.
Problem
Companies using IOC currently have no dedicated module to manage their internal employees or organizational structure. This gap forces users and companies to rely on manual processes or external tools, creating inefficiencies and data inconsistencies. Without a centralized system, companies struggle to maintain visibility and control over employee information and roles within the platform.
Research
Company users are divided into three roles: Contributor, Admin, and Super Admin. Contributors can only view company information, while Admins have limited permissions to manage the company profile and user roles. The Super Admin holds full control over the company profile and user management, and each company must always have one active Super Admin. As we started to create the company management system, we begin to consider various user stories for various use cases such as the type of permission request as well as notifications.

Solution
The proposed solution introduces new modules within IOC that allow companies to enrich their profiles with additional business information, fostering more relevant connections and opportunities. A dedicated admin management portal will be added to help companies efficiently manage employee accounts and organizational roles. Together, these enhancements aim to strengthen business networking, improve collaboration, and streamline internal company management.
